Row Run Race (formerly known as Legs and Paddles) is a favourite race of mine.
This year's race, set in the Marina Basin, involves 5km of kayaking, followed by 5km of running.
It's a race that plays to my strength, given my love for kayaking and running!

Placed in the first wave for the Men's Open was a stroke of good luck, as the water was calm and I was able to choose a good kayak! Took me 3o minutes to finish the 5km paddle and another 20 minutes for the run, finishing in a time of 50min20s to emerge as Men's Open Champion. Another stroke of good luck - the runner up, Kim Hong and a good friend of mine, finished in 50min.22 sec. That's a 2 seconds difference:-)

Good news ! Itsuko clinched 1st place overall (women) in the recent Bintan Triathlon! She emerged the champion out of a total of 46 total participants, clocking 2:30hrs.  According to Itsuko, a harsh rainstorm right before the race had resulted in a wet transition point! Her shoes, socks, bikes...everything was in the water. She even had to collect her floating shoes from a puddle of water at the transition. But in the end, it all worked out out for her.

Congratulations to Itsuko, who will be participating in Frankfurt IM in early July! We wish her all the best!!
